Voice

Asako Narahashi, Half Awake and Half Asleep In The Water

-
That day, I’ve lost my voice.

When I found this my heart stirred. But you already knew that. When I found this it made visible a shared view of where land, sea, and sky meet. Thousands of small waves knock me but no one ever knew how I felt to be in between, guessing answers, causing beautifully eerie feelings of drowning, suffocation, and isolation.

I’ve lost my voice, and I don’t know if I’ll ever get, or want it back.
